Okay, so… The Riot.

I got there around 4:30PM and the Church Square - the meeting place o all protesters - was a chaos already. People all over. They were chanting the national anthem but also chanting things like “Dilma, go fuck yourself”. Dilma is our president. LMAO. Anyway, it was insaaaaaaaaaaane! Then everyone was like “Let’s go to Paulista!” and it was kind of a general consensus so when I noticed I was almost being carried by the crowd, heading to the Paulista Avenue (the most famous avenue, a economical center and stuff). There we where, marching to the avenue, passing by buildings chanting “If you’re with us, flick the lights” and all you could see were buildings with almost all floors with flickering lights and people hanging white towels to show they’re with us in the cause. It was people all over, everywhere I looked there were people and more people and more people. We took over the avenue, can you imagine that? An entire avenue, both sides from the start to the end of it filled with people. We were in like, 200k? I think there were more but…

Anyway, it was really insane! We were chanting and singing, the police helicopter and all TV channels’ helicopters were following us from above and lots of journalists were on the ground with us, marching with us. I saw two or three actors there too! But then some idiots appeared with beer and other alcholic bevegages and molotov cocktails (you know, those fire bottles) and yeah, I was like “Okay, I’ve had enough.” But… I had to come back alone omfg I was so scared, so so scared. I had to go bak like 17 blocks alone, in the dark while almost the entire city was at Paulista Avenue.

It was the craziest shit ever but also the nicest. I came back home looking like a walking dead… I’m so freaking tired.., Can you imagine? I was out for eight hours… Omg I just… We walked a lot and I had to run. Fuq.

I’m so tired and sleepy, I may go to bed now…

If I weren't following you i probably wouldn't know what was going on in Brazil right now. Now I'm trying to learn more about the issues and telling people here about it. Also you're going to the riot :( please be very very careful! And I seriously hope things change for the better. Best wishes~

Oh, really? That’s good to hear! We protesters want to show the world the reality here in Brazil. Overseas, the brazilian image is sould as beaches, girls, sex, samba and soccer - now the World Cup shit. It’s the fakest shit in history, okay? The shit here is not like that. It’s such a crappy situation, that’s why there’s a riot going on.

Even more at times like this. Well… Yeah.

Oh, I’ll take care. As I said, it’s close to where I live so if anything happens I’ll run back. I won’t be there for too long though, I want to come back home around 10, 11PM.
